This year we are expanding the show to feature not only live acts, but visual and textile arts, as well. If you paint, weave, knit, tat, draw, sculpt, turn pottery, or create some other form of beauty, please consider bringing a piece with you that night, and we will display your work for everyone to enjoy. If you can arrive by 5:00 with your item(s), we will have easels and tables in place. Call Donna Stokes-Rogers if you have any questions.
Main Street Festival Brunch for St. Paul’s Families
Our last event of the school year is coming up on Sunday, April 28th after the 11 o’clock service. Bring a dish to share and meet us in Founder’s Hall for food and fellowship before heading out to explore all the Main Street Festival has to offer. RSVP to libby@stpaulsfranklin.com. Drinks will be provided. We hope to see you there!
St. Paul’s Night At The Ballgame
We are heading back to the ballpark again this May for some fun with your parish family! Join us Wednesday, May 1st at First Horizon Park to watch the Nashville Sounds take on the Norfolk Tides. The game begins at 6:35, and we will have a block of seats to enjoy the game together. Tickets are $20 each.
Please email libby@stpaulsfranklin.com by April 22nd to sign up. See you there!
St. Paul’s Night At The Ballgame
We’re all abuzz around here planning for the Week of Wonder, which will take place at Jim Warren Park June 17-20th. We are taking advantage of our outdoor space to explore God’s creation and learn from flowers and bees how to work together to realize God’s dream!
St. Paul’s V.Bee.S. is geared toward children who are 3 years old through rising 4th graders. Children who are entering 5th grade or older are encouraged to register as volunteers and helpers. We need plenty of adults, too! Just like the bees, butterflies, and plants we’ll be studying, we will all work together to create a beautiful Week of Wonder world!
Historic Tour of the Shiloh Battlefield
The Historic Committee is offering a wonderful opportunity to tour the Shiloh Battlefield with our very own Margaret Ann Horn as our tour guide on Friday, May 10th. We will tentatively leave St. Paul’s around 8 am, enjoy a delicious lunch at the Catfish Hotel before exploring the nearby battlefield. We will return to St. Paul’s around 5 pm. There are lodging options nearby, but if you are interested in taking a chartered van and going just for the day, the cost will be around $115 per person and will be limited to the first 14 people to register.
If you are interested in taking the van, please contact libby@stpaulsfranklin.com as soon as possible to reserve your spot!
